Job Description

We are seeking a Timber Selector who will play a vital role in sourcing and selecting timber products specifically for construction and design projects. You will assess timber quality, ensure compliance with environmental regulations, and collaborate closely with various stakeholders including designers and builders.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-quality timber products suitable for various construction projects.
• Support the procurement team in sourcing sustainable timber.
• Assess timber products for compliance with industry standards.
• Provide expert advice on timber selection to internal teams.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Timber Merchandising or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Timber Science or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in related fields preferred

• First Aid certification

Languages
