Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining the costs associated with construction projects, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of estimates and bids.
Responsibilities
Develop cost estimates for construction projects based on drawings, specifications, and other project documents.
Review and analyse project documents to identify potential cost savings.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to obtain quotes.
Prepare and present cost estimates to clients.
Monitor project costs and provide regular updates.
Ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
Identify trends in costs and market conditions to inform future estimates.
Work closely with the project management team to ensure timely completion of estimates.
Utilise estimating software to enhance accuracy in cost assessments.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
Experience
5+ years of experience in construction estimating
Technical Skills
Knowledge of construction materials and methods

Certifications
Professional Estimator Certification
Languages
English: Fluent
Advantageous
Experience with cost control and budget tracking: Proficient in monitoring expenditures and ensuring project stays within budget.
