Job Description

As a Hoist and Winch Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of drilling rigs. Your responsibilities will include operating and maintaining derrick systems, and you will be responsible for rigging up and down equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the rigging up and down of rig equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory safety standards.
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment failures and implementing solutions.
  • Participate in safety audits and training sessions.
  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational safety.

Requirements

Education
  • Completion of relevant training courses or apprenticeship programs
Experience
  • Experience working in the oil and gas industry preferred.
