Job Description

As a UAS Pilot, you will be responsible for operating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for various applications, including aerial surveying, mapping, and inspections. You will ensure compliance with aviation regulations while conducting pre-flight checks and collaborating with ground teams.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize UAVs for mapping, surveying, and inspections.
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight safety inspections.
  • Maintain communication with ground crews during flight operations.
  • Gather and interpret data collected from UAV flights.
  • Adhere strictly to aviation compliance standards.
  • Take responsibility for UAV upkeep and maintenance.
  • Keep abreast of new UAS industry developments.

Requirements

Education
  • CASA Remote Pilot License (RePL) or equivalent certification
  • CPL or RPL is a plus
Experience
  • Experience in aerial surveying, mapping, or inspection is advantageous
