Job Description

Christian Community Services is seeking a passionate and dedicated Director of Religious Activities and Education. This role involves overseeing children's ministry programs, recruiting and training volunteers, and ensuring that all educational activities promote spiritual development and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in religious education and a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly meetings with volunteers to discuss upcoming activities.
• Facilitate engagement with parents and foster community relationships.
• Integrate feedback from families into program development.
• Monitor child participation and adjust programs as needed.
• Conduct evaluations of events to ensure they meet objectives.
• Establish partnerships with other community organizations to enhance services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
• Master's degree in Theology or related field preferred

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in church or children's ministry settings.
