Job Description

As a Critical Care Nurse (ICU Travel RN), you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in various healthcare facilities across Australia. This role demands extensive experience in emergency and intensive care nursing, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead patient care rounds and contribute to interdisciplinary team decisions.
  • Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff as needed.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
  • Participate in community outreach programs focusing on health education.
  • Provide knowledge on critical care nursing to peers and staff during training sessions.

Requirements

Education
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Critical Care setting
