Unmanned Air Systems Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Unmanned Air Systems Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate UAS for various applications such as aerial surveying and inspections, ensuring adherence to safety standards and effective data collection.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations during all flight operations.
• Collect and process aerial survey data for various applications.
• Train and mentor new team members on UAS operations.
• Document and report on project progress and findings.
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on UAS equipment.
• Coordinate fieldwork logistics and travel to remote locations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. aviation, engineering, geography)

Experience

• Experience in aerial surveying, photography, or inspections is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Handheld GPS Devices
• Remote Sensing Technologies

Certifications

• CASA Remote Pilot License

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with Fixed-wing or Rotary-wing UAS: Familiarity with operating both fixed-wing and rotary-wing unmanned systems.
