Tile Fitter

Job Description

As a Tile Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation of tiles on floors, walls, and various surfaces. This role demands a keen eye for detail and physical stamina, ensuring that each installation is flawless and meets our high standards.

Responsibilities

• Lay tiles to create decorative wall and floor designs.
• Align tiles using levels and plumb lines.
• Spread mastic or adhesive substances onto base surfaces.
• Grind and polish installed tiles for smooth surfaces.
• Ensure that tiles are properly aligned and spaced.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Report timely on job progress to the Site Manager.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling or equivalent.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in tile fitting.

Technical Skills

• Mosaic Tiling

Soft Skills

• Team Collaboration

Advantageous

• Experience in commercial tiling: Background in high-volume tiling projects.
• Flexibility to work outside of standard hours: Willingness to work evenings or weekends as required.
