Job Description

We are looking for a Hull and Deck Remover to join our dynamic team. This role involves the removal of old or damaged hulls and decks from boats and ships, ensuring that the process is carried out safely and efficiently without damaging surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

  • Dismantle hulls and decks from retired vessels following established safety protocols.
  • Operate power tools such as angle grinders and drills for effective removal.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members to coordinate removal processes.
  • Maximize efficiency while minimising waste and environmental impact.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials removed.
  • Train new team members on safe and efficient removal techniques.
  • Ensure all personal protective equipment and safety measures are adhered to at all times.

Requirements

Education
  • No formal qualifications required, but experience in a similar role is advantageous
  • Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card) is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role
