Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Salvage Operations Manager to lead our salvage operations team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of marine salvage practices, have proven management skills, and a deep understanding of safety regulations. You will oversee the entire salvage process, ensuring each project is handled with the utmost care and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of complex salvage operations.
  • Evaluate salvage techniques based on site-specific conditions.
  • Direct and mentor salvage crews, ensuring high performance.
  • Monitor financial performance of salvage projects and recommend improvements.
  • Implement safety management systems and ensure adherence during operations.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance is maintained.
  • Conduct site visits to assess and plan salvage operations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the salvage team.
  • Prepare and present operational reports and key performance metrics.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Master's degree in Marine Engineering is preferred
