Job Description

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Furnace, Kiln, Oven, Drier, and Kettle Operator. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the operation of kilns and driers, adjusting settings as needed to optimise production processes. Ideal candidates will have experience in a similar role and a strong focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate processing equipment with a keen focus on quality control.
• Adjust temperature settings during operations to meet production specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections to prevent equipment failure.
• Document production records and report any discrepancies.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment usage and safety practices.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in kiln operation or related field

Experience

• Experience with kiln automation systems is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Knowledge in kiln automation
• Safety practices

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
• Ability to work under pressure

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous experience in ceramics or glass production: Relevant experience in specific industries related to kiln operations.
• Forklift license (preferred): Ability to operate a forklift safely is beneficial.
