Job Description

As a Rail-Track Laying and Maintenance Equipment Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and safety of railway tracks. Your responsibilities will include operating specialized equipment for laying and maintaining tracks, performing inspections, and collaborating with the track maintenance team to achieve optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of track conditions and equipment functionality.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop effective maintenance strategies.
• Execute scheduled maintenance tasks for optimal track performance.
• Monitor equipment usage and suggest improvements.
• Document all work performed and report to the supervisor.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in track maintenance and repair preferred

Technical Skills

• Welding and metal fabrication

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills

Certifications

• Heavy machinery operation certification (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
