Job Description

As a Claims Adjuster in our Property and Casualty division, you will play a critical role in evaluating and settling insurance claims. You’ll be responsible for gathering information from claimants, assessing policy compliance, and ensuring timely resolution for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate property and casualty insurance claims, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Investigate claims by gathering required documents and evidence.
  • Assess and interpret complex claims and related information.
  • Engage with claimants and other stakeholders to navigate the claims process.
  • Make informed decisions about claim approvals and denials, documenting outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all claims handled.
  • Work jointly with legal, underwriting, and actuarial departments as necessary.
  • Help formulate best practices for claims assessment and management.
  • Deliver exceptional service and support to clients throughout each claims process.
  • Conduct periodic training sessions for junior staff on claim assessment processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Master's degree in Business Administration is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in claims adjusting or property and casualty insurance
