Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair machine issues to minimize downtime.
• Adjust operations to maximise production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to address any product defects.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.
• Maintain accurate logs of production data and machinery performance.
• Assist in the onboarding and training of new employees.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering or related field is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering environment.

Technical Skills

• Experience with cutting machinery
• Knowledge of safety standards

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience using measurement tools and equipment: Ability to use calipers, gauges, and measurement apparatus effectively.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles: Understanding of methodologies aimed at minimizing waste within manufacturing.
