House Superintendent

Job Description

As a House Superintendent, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of residential buildings, ensuring they are safe and comfortable for residents. You will coordinate with maintenance staff, manage budgets, and implement preventative maintenance plans. Your strong communication skills will help you liaise with residents and contractors effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to identify issues.
• Coordinate all maintenance and repair activities with staff and contractors.
• Manage budgets related to building maintenance and repairs.
• Create and uphold a preventative maintenance program.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Lead a team of maintenance staff and promote effective collaboration.
• Respond to emergencies quickly and address repair needs.
• Foster positive relationships with residents and address their concerns promptly.
• Ensure that properties are clean, safe, and inviting.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Property Management or Facilities Management
• Relevant diploma or degree in a related field is beneficial

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
