Job Description

As an Escrow Officer, you'll play a vital role in the property transaction process, ensuring that all financial and legal documents are accurately executed and recorded. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will help facilitate smooth closings and maintain positive relationships with clients and other parties involved.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the entire escrow process from start to finish.
• Review and ensure the accuracy of all documentation prepared for property transactions.
• Liaise with real estate agents, client lawyers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
• Regularly update all parties involved on the progress of the escrow process.
• Prepare financial statements and escrow accounts as needed.
• Identify any potential legal issues and provide solutions promptly.
• Stay informed on current trends and changes in local real estate laws.
• Support the training and onboarding of new staff in escrow processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business or finance

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in an escrow or real estate environment.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Escrow Software
• Real Estate Law

Certifications
