Metrologist

Job Description

The Metrologist will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of measurement systems and equipment across various industries. They will utilise advanced tools and software to calibrate and test equipment to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections and audits on measurement systems.
• Assist in the development and implementation of measurement procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis for measurement discrepancies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to enhance measurement quality.
• Ensure timely calibration of all measurement instruments.
• Provide insights and recommendations for equipment upgrades.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance team knowledge on measurement standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Certification in Calibration or Quality Assurance is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry with a focus on metrology

• CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing: Knowledge and experience in metrology within the medical device sector.
