Job Description

We are on the hunt for a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our vibrant team in Hobart. The ideal candidate will provide first-class technical support and assist in managing IT systems, ensuring that our technology runs smoothly and efficiently for our staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and upgrading of computer systems.
  • Maintain IT inventory and documentation in accordance with policies.
  • Monitor and manage system performance and user accounts.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT strategies.
  • Provide training and support to staff on new hardware/software.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Additional certification in IT service management is a bonus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in technical support roles
