We are seeking a proactive and skilled Taxi Dispatcher to coordinate the movement of taxis and drivers. As part of our Operations Team, you will ensure timely and efficient service, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate taxi bookings to ensure quick response times.
Track the progress of taxi trips and provide updates to customers.
Assess and improve service efficiency through operational analysis.
Maintain logs for driver hours and vehicle inspections.
Collaborate with other dispatchers for smooth operations.
Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate solutions.
Participate in team meetings to discuss improvements and challenges.
Train new staff in dispatch procedures and customer service standards.
Requirements
Education
Relevant qualifications in logistics or transport
Experience
Experience in a similar dispatching role is highly regarded
