Job Description

As an Aviation Survival Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of passengers during air travel. Your primary role will involve maintaining and repairing essential emergency equipment such as life rafts, oxygen systems, and survival kits, while providing training for crew and passengers on emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all emergency equipment meets regulatory standards and is operational.
  • Conduct training sessions for crew on emergency equipment usage.
  • Perform daily checks and maintain documentation for compliance.
  • Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of emergency procedures.
  • Stay updated with the latest safety regulations and technologies.
  • Assist in emergency response drills to simulate real-life scenarios.
  • Monitor inventory of emergency supplies and equipment.
  • Engage in continuous learning to enhance safety practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) or equivalent
  • Certificate III in Aviation (Ground Operations and Service) or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in aviation maintenance and repair.
