Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Laborer and Freight Handler to join our fast-paced team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently packing and handling stock, ensuring a clean workspace, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Package and label items to be shipped.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory.
• Ensure a clean and safe workspace at all times.
• Carry out tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Help with stock rotation and inventory counts.
• Engage with team members to improve workplace efficiency and service.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a retail or warehouse setting preferred

Technical Skills

• Heavy lifting
• Customer service skills

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Team collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with handling fragile items: Knowledge of best practices for packing and handling delicate items.
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems: Experience in using POS systems for processing transactions.
