Job Description

Join our growing pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Technician in Melbourne. In this role, you will support our pharmacists by preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications and maintain accurate records of dispensed drugs.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels.
• Assist with insurance verification and prescription processing.
• Provide patient education on medication use and safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure quality care.
• Assist in the training of new pharmacy staff.
• Participate in pharmacy quality assurance programs.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the Pharmacy Manager.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of a relevant qualification in pharmacy

Experience

• Previous experience in a community pharmacy is advantageous
