We are seeking a passionate Craft Artist to join our team as a Glass Blower. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for designing and creating stunning glass artworks, using traditional and modern glassblowing techniques. Ideal candidates should have a keen eye for detail and a love for artistic expression.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce bespoke glass art pieces according to client specifications.
• Utilize traditional glassblowing methods alongside innovative techniques.
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm new designs and artistic concepts.
• Ensure all glass products are checked for quality before delivery.
• Help maintain the inventory of materials and tools required for glass production.
• Engage with the local community through workshops and demonstrations.
• Attend team meetings to discuss project progress and ideas.
• Research and experiment with new glass techniques and materials.
• Keep abreast of industry trends to enhance creativity.
• Document production processes and techniques for future reference.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required but a certificate or diploma in glassblowing is highly desirable.

Experience

• Prior experience as a glass blower or in a similar role is required, preferably in a professional setting.
