Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts.
Collaborate with various departments to determine product needs.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that may arise.
Utilize analytical skills to identify cost-saving initiatives.
Stay updated on industry trends and market changes to inform procurement strategy.
Assist in training new procurement staff on processes and systems.
Utilizing ERP systems for purchase order creation and tracking.
Review and approve purchase orders before submission.
Evaluation of supplier proposals and bids.
Maintain good working relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Experience
3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing
