Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Clerk to join our team in Sydney. The successful applicant will play a key role in sourcing and managing the procurement of goods and services, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts.
  • Collaborate with various departments to determine product needs.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Utilize analytical skills to identify cost-saving initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market changes to inform procurement strategy.
  • Assist in training new procurement staff on processes and systems.
  • Utilizing ERP systems for purchase order creation and tracking.
  • Review and approve purchase orders before submission.
  • Evaluation of supplier proposals and bids.
  • Maintain good working relationships with suppliers and internal teams.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing
