Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Hob Machine Operator, responsible for operating hobbing machines to cut and shape precision gears and components. The successful candidate will ensure equipment maintenance and adherence to safety standards while producing high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hobbing machines to create precision components.
• Inspect and measure finished products, ensuring quality and compliance with specifications.
• Adjust machine parameters based on required specifications.
• Read and interpret drawings and technical documentation.
• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, following all protocols.
• Collaborate with other operators to achieve production goals.
• Participate in regular maintenance tasks and inspections.
• Document production data and performance metrics accurately.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and productivity.
• Assist with training new operators as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent qualification

Experience

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment

• CNC Programming

Languages

• English: Fluent
