Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Metal-Refining Furnace Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will operate and maintain iron melting equipment, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of production while adhering to strict quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operation of melting equipment including maintaining optimal temperatures for efficient melting.
  • Perform essential maintenance checks and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Work closely with the quality control team to ensure product consistency and quality.
  • Prepare and review production reports, noting any discrepancies.
  • Implement best practices in handling and storing molten materials.
  • Facilitate communication between production and management teams regarding operational status.
  • Provide training support to junior operators on best practices and safety protocols.
  • Ensure proper use of safety equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical certification in metallurgy or related field is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the iron and steel industry.
