Job Description

We are seeking a Chemical Equipment Operator who will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the production of Thiokol, a vital synthetic rubber product. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient production and adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of Thiokol processing equipment efficiently.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and necessary repairs on equipment.
• Monitor quality control parameters and ensure product quality.
• Accurately log production data and operational metrics.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and promote a safety-first culture.
• Coordinate with team members for seamless production flow.
• Identify and resolve any operational issues promptly.
• Prepare reports relating to production outputs and equipment status.
• Participate in safety audits and compliance checks.
• Engage in ongoing training to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Higher qualifications in Chemical Engineering is a plus.

Experience

• 3+ years in chemical processing role, particularly with synthetic materials.
