Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Musical Instrument Repairer and Tuner to join our creative team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various musical instruments and will be responsible for repairing, tuning, and maintaining high-quality audio equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and tune instruments to ensure optimal sound quality for our productions.
• Work closely with the production team to identify and meet equipment needs.
• Create and implement maintenance schedules for musical instruments.
• Stay updated on the latest techniques and trends in instrument repair.
• Provide input on the purchase of new instruments and maintenance tools.
• Train interns and junior technicians on proper instrument handling and repair techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Music or Audio Production
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.

Languages
