Job Description

As an Information Security Director at Tech Innovations Inc., you will spearhead our commitment to safeguarding our information assets. With a focus on creating and implementing robust security strategies, you will work tirelessly to protect sensitive data from potential threats. You will lead a dynamic team and collaborate with various departments to ensure that our security measures are not only compliant with Australia’s rigorous laws and standards but are also best-in-class.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and enforce security strategies for data protection.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the security team.
  • Monitor and evaluate existing security measures and recommend improvements.
  • Review and update security policies on a regular basis.
  • Establish an incident response plan and conduct drills.
  • Ensure vendors and contractors align with the organization’s security standards.
  • Act as the organization's point of contact for all cybersecurity-related matters.
  • Facilitate audits by external security firms.
  • Set up a framework for incident reporting and analysis.
  • Promote continuous improvement of security practices across the organization.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Security
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable
Experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity
