We are looking for a Specifications Writer who will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of technical documentation that outlines product specifications. This role involves collaborating with engineers, architects, and other technical professionals to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain product specifications for a range of building materials.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure documentation accuracy and consistency.
• Manage document control systems for compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct ongoing research to remain current with industry regulations.
• Communicate with internal teams to clarify and enhance documentation.
• Support product development initiatives by creating relevant technical documents.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of building codes and industry standards.
• Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure document integrity.
• Work on enhancing existing documentation processes for efficiency.
• Participate in team meetings to align on project expectations and requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
• Professional certification in technical writing is a plus

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in technical writing or related field

Technical Skills

• Expertise in Microsoft Office
• Experience with AutoCAD

Soft Skills

• Effective communication skills
• Analytical reasoning
