Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sea Captain to lead and navigate our maritime operations. The successful candidate will oversee the safe and efficient transportation of goods and passengers by sea, operating vessels in compliance with maritime laws and ensuring the highest safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the navigation and operation of the vessel, ensuring safe and effective journeys.
• Manage crew operations, including training and performance evaluations.
• Utilize electronic navigation systems and equipment for effective route planning.
• Assess risks and make critical decisions regarding vessel maneuvers in adverse weather conditions.
• Maintain communication with crew members and shore operations to ensure smooth operations.
• Implement safety drills and training programs for the crew.
• Document all navigational activities and compliance with maritime standards.
• Collaborate with shore teams to coordinate logistics and operational needs.
• Develop and implement best practices for maritime operations.

Requirements

Education

• Certifications in maritime leadership preferred
• Training in emergency response and safety protocols

Experience

• Experience navigating in challenging conditions is advantageous.

Technical Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
