Job Description

As a Stemming Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining stemming machines, ensuring effective blasting processes in mining operations. This role requires attention to detail, safety compliance, and collaboration with the blasting team.

Responsibilities

• Manage machine operations, ensuring timely and effective blasting.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of stemming machines.
• Work closely with team members to meet production targets.
• Log operational data and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in loading and unloading stemming materials as required.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to improving practices.
• Identify potential machine malfunctions and report them promptly.

Requirements

Education

• High-risk license for operating heavy machinery

Experience

• 2+ years in a similar role within the mining sector.
