Behavioural Specialist

Job Description

As a Behavioural Specialist, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate behaviour interventions tailored to individual clients. Your expertise in behaviour analysis and intervention will be essential in making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients' needs through thorough assessments and ongoing observations.
• Design comprehensive behaviour intervention plans incorporating evidence-based strategies.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of interventions, making adjustments as necessary.
• Provide consultancy and support to families, caregivers, and educational staff.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
• Foster a supportive and therapeutic environment for clients.
• Develop educational materials to support behaviour interventions and training.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of direct experience in a similar role, especially with ASD clients

Technical Skills

• Crisis Intervention

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Multidisciplinary team experience: Experience working as part of a team including psychologists and social workers.
