Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team in Toowoomba. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality medical care to pets and delivering exceptional customer service to pet owners. You will diagnose and treat a variety of animals, perform surgery, and promote wellness through preventive care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the treatment of animals under care in the clinic.
• Provide post-operative care and assessments.
• Evaluate and interpret diagnostic tests and results.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding care and treatment options.
• Promote a positive and caring environment for animals and clients alike.
• Collaborate with specialists for referral cases as needed.
• Participate in case discussions and meetings with the veterinary team.
• Develop and implement health care plans for specific animal needs.
• Provide behavioral consultations as required.
• Ensure a clean and safe clinic environment for staff and patients.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Postgraduate qualifications in Veterinary Medicine are beneficial.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in mixed practice preferred.
