Job Description

We are seeking a District Plant Engineer to oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment used in our production processes. The ideal candidate will ensure that all machinery operates efficiently and meets safety standards. This role involves managing maintenance schedules, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational efficiency of production equipment.
• Monitor safety compliance and implement necessary changes.
• Design maintenance plans focused on minimising operational interruptions.
• Lead a team of maintenance technicians and support their professional development.
• Communicate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and service agreements.
• Track maintenance and repair expenses against budget.
• Implement new technologies to improve maintenance processes.
• Conduct audits on equipment operations to ensure standards are met.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Additional certifications are preferable

Experience

• Experience in managing maintenance teams and budgets
