Job Description

As the Acoustical Tile Carpenters' Supervisor, you will lead a team of skilled carpenters in the installation of acoustical tiles across various commercial and residential projects. This position demands a keen eye for detail and strong managerial skills. You will be responsible for ensuring that all installations meet compliance standards and specifications while fostering a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operations of a carpentry team focused on acoustical tile implementations.
  • Ensure all team members follow safety regulations and maintain high work standards.
  • Interpret technical drawings and plans to facilitate accurate project execution.
  • Manage stock levels and order materials to prevent project delays.
  • Work in tandem with acoustical consultants to ensure optimal performance of installed products.
  • Monitor work progress and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate training workshops on new technologies and installation techniques.
  • Assist in conflict resolution and performance management within the team.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical qualifications in carpentry or construction management preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in relevant carpentry roles, with supervisory experience preferred
