Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Clinician to deliver mental health care to individuals in the Sunshine Coast area. You will provide assessments, develop treatment plans, and offer therapeutic interventions to support our clients in achieving their mental health goals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed mental health assessments and diagnoses.
  • Implement treatment plans based on individual client evaluations.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions for individuals experiencing mental health issues.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate care.
  • Document client encounters and maintain confidentiality in all records.
  • Assist in crisis management and intervention strategies.
  • Offer psychoeducation to clients and their support network.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training.
  • Participate in mental health outreach programs within the community.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work
  • Master's degree is advantageous
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in mental health therapy
