Carpenter Assembler

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Carpenter Assembler to help us in creating beautiful wooden structures. You will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and assembling materials, ensuring that every detail adheres to our high standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
• Utilize hand and power tools safely to assemble products.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in production processes.
• Assist with back-end tasks as required by supervisors to enhance product flow.
• Document job specifications and material usage for accurate record-keeping.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in carpentry or woodwork assembly

Technical Skills

• Carpentry expertise
• Blueprint reading

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Communication

Certifications

• White Card (Construction Induction)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with various wooden materials: Familiarity with hardwood, softwood, and engineered wood products.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations: Understanding compliance requirements in carpentry.
