Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Mackay. In this role, you will design and oversee the construction of buildings and other structures, ensuring they are safe, stable, and aesthetically pleasing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil or structural engineering and a passion for innovative design.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural models using specialized engineering software.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure project feasibility.
• Perform calculations to analyze the load and stability of structures.
• Prepare and submit regulatory approval documentation.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss project requirements.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit

Certifications

• Licensed Structural Engineer
• Building Code Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
