Job Description

The Ash Conveyor Operator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the ash conveyor system within a power plant environment. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented and has the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment and ensure equipment functionality.
• Document maintenance tasks and assist with inventory management.
• Work collaboratively with mechanical staff for major repairs.
• Follow directives from the Plant Manager and provide feedback on system performance.
• Be available for shift work and overtime as required.

Requirements

Education

• Higher-level technical or trade qualification is preferred.
• Certificate IV in Engineering or similar is advantageous.

Experience

• 4+ years in industrial equipment operation, particularly in power generation.

• Pneumatic Conveying Systems
• Heavy Machinery Operation

Certifications

• First Aid Certification
• Confined Space Entry Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
