Job Description

We are seeking a talented Demographer to join our team, responsible for analysing and interpreting complex population data. The ideal candidate will utilise advanced statistical techniques to identify trends and provide insightful recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct demographic surveys and analyse survey data collaboratively.
• Develop reports that showcase demographic trends and projections.
• Utilise statistical techniques to assess and interpret demographic data.
• Communicate complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings to discuss progress and findings.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently while adhering to deadlines.
• Actively participate in community outreach initiatives.
• Ensure strict adherence to ethical guidelines in data collection and analysis.
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders in government and business.
• Drive initiatives aimed at improving data collection methods.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Demography, Statistics, Sociology or Geography
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years' experience in demographic analysis or research

Technical Skills

• Data visualisation tools
• Statistical modelling techniques

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in outreach projects with government agencies.: Experience working directly with government clients or agencies.
