Job Description

As a Molding and Casting Machine Setter, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining sophisticated machinery that produces high-quality metal and plastic components. Your role will include programming machines, troubleshooting issues, and working collaboratively to improve production processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of molding and casting machinery.
• Conduct routine inspections and machine maintenance.
• Collect and analyze data to optimize machine performance.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Assist in material handling and job set-up for new production runs.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical qualification in a related field is advantageous

Experience

• Preferably 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with automated equipment

Technical Skills

• Robot control software (ABB RobotStudio, KUKA SimPro)
• Data analysis skills

Certifications

• Safety certification in operating machinery

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks): Experience using CAD software for technical drawings.
