Machine Hand

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Hand to operate and maintain various manufacturing machines within a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail to ensure production targets are met while upholding quality standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with the production supervisor and other team members to achieve operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machines are set up and ready for production runs.
• Conduct routine maintenance and report any issues to management.
• Carry out inspections of products and report findings.
• Follow written and verbal instructions for machine operation.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet project goals.
• Assist in process audits and suggest improvements.
• Document all machine operations and maintenance activities.
• Participate in training programs for equipment operation.
• Maintain accurate records of machine usage and maintenance.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in manufacturing or machine operation preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in machine operation or manufacturing is preferred.

Technical Skills

• CNC Machine Operation
• SAP or MES knowledge

Soft Skills

• Time management
• Communication

Advantageous

• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations: Knowledge of relevant industry safety standards.
• Experience in quality control processes: Understanding quality control measures in a manufacturing context.
