Unloader Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable Unloader Operator to join our team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for unloading goods from trucks and ensuring their proper storage within the warehouse. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the unloading process for various types of cargo.
• Perform quality control checks on received goods.
• Collaborate closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to optimize operations.
• Document and report any damages or discrepancies in shipping.
• Assist in training new staff on proper unloading procedures.
• Maintain a high level of safety awareness and compliance.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss improvements and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience as an Unloader Operator or in a similar role preferred

Technical Skills

• Heavy Machinery Operation
• Logistics Operations

• Strong Work Ethic
• Flexibility

Certifications

• Forklift Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Hazardous Materials: Prior experience working with hazardous materials and adhering to safety protocols.
