Shear Grinder Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Shear Grinder Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining the shear grinder machine, ensuring that metal sheets are ground to the required thickness with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the shear grinder machine daily.
• Analyze and interpret technical drawings to meet the specifications.
• Calibrate machine controls for optimal efficiency.
• Perform quality checks on grinding thickness and surface quality.
• Document maintenance activities and machine adjustments.
• Assist in troubleshooting machine errors and malfunctions.
• Participate in routine safety audits and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Trade certificate in metalworking or a related field is preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a Shear Grinder Operator or in a similar role.
