Janitor

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable Janitor to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in our facility. The successful candidate will ensure that all building areas are kept clean and well-maintained, and that the equipment and machinery are in good working order.

Responsibilities

• Deep clean carpets and upholstery as needed.
• Assist in maintaining outdoor areas, ensuring grounds are tidy.
• Work collaboratively with a team to ensure facilities are maintained to high standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas, reporting any issues found.
• Continuous training on the use of cleaning equipment and hazardous materials.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in janitorial work is preferred.

• Cleaning Equipment Usage

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Operating Floor Buffers: Prior experience with floor buffing equipment is a major advantage.
• Knowledge of Safety Regulations: Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety regulations pertaining to cleaning.
