Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cast-Iron Drain Pipe Layer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to install and maintain cast-iron drain pipes for efficient sewer and drainage systems. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of construction and plumbing principles, complemented by hands-on experience in pipe laying.

Responsibilities

• Lay and connect cast-iron pipes as per project plans.
• Trach and excavate for pipe installations to ensure proper drainage.
• Oversee pipe alignment and gradient adjustments during installations.
• Manage the inspection and remedial work on existing drainage systems.
• Coordinate with site supervisors for project progress.
• Implement strict adherence to safety standards and practices.
• Document all installation processes and improvements.
• Resolve drainage system problems using effective troubleshooting skills.
• Research and learn about new drainage installation techniques.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• White Card or equivalent construction induction card
• Additional relevant certifications are advantageous

Experience

• Experience with other types of pipe materials preferred.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of local plumbing codes
• Heavy machinery operation

Languages

• English: Fluent
