Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Forensic Accountant to join our team in Sydney. As a forensic accountant, you will play a crucial role in investigating financial discrepancies and providing expert testimony in legal proceedings.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and analyze financial records to identify fraud indicators.
  • Draft detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including lawyers and forensic investigators.
  • Utilize software tools for data analysis and visualization.
  • Stay current on trends in forensic accounting and fraud detection.
  • Support clients during audits and investigations.
  • Provide training to colleagues on forensic accounting practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Master’s degree in Forensic Accounting is a plus
Experience
  • Over 5 years of experience in fraud investigations or forensic accounting
