Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee payroll processing for multiple entities.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations and requirements.
  • Utilize payroll software proficiently, such as MYOB or Xero.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
  • Assist with internal and external audits related to payroll.
Job Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent
  • MYOB Proficient in using MYOB for payroll processing.
  • Xero Experienced in Xero for end-to-end payroll management.
  • Microsoft Excel Strong skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Attention to Detail Exceptional attention to detail in payroll tasks.
  • Communication Strong communication skills for liaising with staff and management.
  • Time Management Excellent time management skills to meet strict deadlines.
  • Certified Payroll Practitioner
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with complex payroll systems: Handling payroll for multiple entities or across different states.
  • Knowledge of ATO compliance requirements: Familiarity with Australian Taxation Office regulations and payroll compliance.
