Job Description

We are seeking a Payroll Bookkeeper to manage our company's payroll process and ensure timely and accurate payment of employees. The ideal candidate will have experience with payroll software and possess knowledge of Australian payroll regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee payroll processing for multiple entities.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations and requirements.
  • Utilize payroll software proficiently, such as MYOB or Xero.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
  • Assist with internal and external audits related to payroll.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll processing
