Job Description

As a Lathe and Turning Machine Tool Setter, Operator, and Tender, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining gear cutting machines to create precision gears and components. This role requires technical knowledge and strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality output.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery for specific jobs, ensuring all specifications are met.
• Conduct tests on components to verify their conformance to specifications.
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure longevity and efficiency.
• Take corrective actions when production deviates from specifications.
• Keep accurate logs of production data and maintenance records.
• Interact with suppliers for machine parts and service needs.
• Assist in scheduling maintenance and repairs.
• Provide feedback to management on machinery performance and production efficiency.
• Actively participate in safety training and workshops.
• Promote a culture of safety and quality within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in gear cutting or related field
